A security cheque is required on all vehicle hires for corporates.Security cheque will be returned after 14-21 days after the contractual period ends.

All our vehicles are covered for on road insurance only. No off-road insurance. Fully Comprehensive insurance, maximum deductible of 1000 QR for own fault accidents (including unknown and no 3rd party involved).

- Unlimited Mileage.

- Copies of the Commercial Registration, Establishment Card, Municipality License, QID of the signatories.
- Filled, Signed and Stamped Account opening form.
- Copies of the QID & License of the user.
- The driver should hold a valid or recognized driving license approved by the Qatar Traffic Department to drive any category of vehicles. UCR will not be responsible for any consequences due to non-compliance with the traffic rules regarding driving license.

An individual can rent up to 12 months only and thereafter will be renewed on monthly extension basis.

- Valid Qatari Driving License and QID copy (front & back)
- User of the vehicle should be above 22 years.

PREMATURE TERMINATION:

One-Year Contract: In case of premature termination then, “XXX” should undertake to pay as follows:
• Less than 06 months - 100% of the balance lease hire charges of the contract period to be paid.
• Between 07 to 12 months - 50% of the balance lease hire charges of the contract period to be paid.

Two-Years Contract: In case of premature termination then, “XXX” should undertake to pay as follows:
• Less than 12 months - 100% of the balance lease hire charges of the contract period to be paid.
• Between 13 to 24 months - 50% of the balance lease hire charges of the contract period to be paid.

Three-Years Contract: In case of premature termination then, “XXX” should undertake to pay as follows:
• Less than 24 months - 100% of the balance lease hire charges of the contract period to be paid.
• Between 25 to 36 months - 50% of the balance lease hire charges of the contract period to be paid.

Four-Years Contract: In case of premature termination then, “XXX” should undertake to pay as follows:
• Less than 36 months - 100% of the balance lease hire charges of the contract period to be paid.
• Between 37 to 48 months - 50% of the balance lease hire charges of the contract period to be paid.

MAINTENANCE: The rates include service, maintenance, fully comprehensive insurance and a replacement car will be given should it be needed in case of maintenance or accident. The replacement will be equivalent to the rented vehicle whenever possible. The new vehicles will be serviced first at 1000 km and thereafter every 8000 kms. But if the user at any point feels that there is a problem with the car, he should immediately notify us & not wait for the service to be due. The next service due kilometer will be mentioned on the windscreen of the vehicle for your reference. Checking the battery acid level (if applicable), coolant in the radiator, oil level in the engine and the tire pressure between the regular 8000 km will be the responsibility of the user. Tire punctures and tire damaged as a result of the puncture or otherwise, will have to be repaired / replaced by the user.

Any damages due to negligence will be charged to the user. However, the tires and wiper blades worn out by normal wear & tear will be replaced by us without any additional cost. The replacement vehicle will be provided only after submitting a valid police report (Repair order & Insurance claim report). The RENTER should return the vehicle in the same condition with accessories on the agreed time, date, and place during the working days from Saturday to Thursday (08:00 AM to 05:30 PM) except Fridays and public holidays through official means with a 24-Hour prior notice. The RENTER does not have the right to repair the vehicle or change any parts without informing UCR.

24/7 ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE: United Car Rentals Co. W.L.L, in tie up with AAA Middle East offers exclusive road assistance to all the vehicles registered under our fleet. This service provides round the clock - 24/7 emergency assistance includes flat tire assistance, battery boosting, key lock assistance, towing services, battery replacement on site etc.

INSURANCE: All our vehicles are comprehensively insured with Personal accident benefit for the drivers and the passengers as per the seating capacity of the vehicles. In the event of an accident or any damage caused on the vehicle, it is the user’s responsibility to obtain a valid police report suitable for insurance claim.

The lessee will be liable to pay a first liability/ deductible of Qrs.1000.00 or Qr. 2500.00 if the user/ driver of the vehicle age below 22 in the following instances:
- Where it is determined by the police and mentioned in the police report that the fault that caused the accident is the user of our vehicle.
- In the event of hit and run or damages caused where the third party is not involved or cannot be traced.
If the police report is not suitable for insurance claim, all police, insurance and repair charge will have to be borne by the respective individual. In the event of breakdown due to negligence like driving through water, dunes bashing, beach driving, etc. where the insurance claim get rejected, total cost for repairing the vehicle will be the responsibility of Lessee.

TRAFFIC FINES:
In accordance with the recent Qatar’s traffic regulations, the RENTER acknowledges that United Car Rentals Co. W.L.L (UCR) is required to immediately settle any traffic violations incurred during the rental period to avoid potential legal consequences.
1. Fines Paid by UCR: UCR will settle the traffic fines on behalf of the Renter and will provide the Renter with the official payment receipts. The Renter agrees to reimburse UCR for any such payments within 24 hours of receiving the payment notification.
2. Violations Involving Points: For traffic violations that incur points, the RENTER is required to personally settle the fine within 24 hours of its appearance on the Ministry of Interior’s Traffic Violations page (moi.gov.qa). UCR shall bear no responsibility for the settlement of such fines.

COST ESCALATION: All new taxes, levies, VAT, Road Permits or increase in existing taxes, levies, road permit, fuel cost by Government or any other Competent Authority after the date of submission of this quotation/ contract, will be charged to the LESSEE as and when they become payable.

Any fee referred to in this agreement is exclusive of VAT or any other similar tax which might be chargeable in connection with that fee. If any VAT or other similar tax is so chargeable, it shall be paid by the LESSEE at the same time as it pays the relevant fee on receipt of a valid VAT invoice (or equivalent).
