- 21st FINA World Championships 2024
From 2 to 18 February 2024, Doha will host the World Aquatics Championships. It’s the first time that Qatar’s capital will host this event. From swimming, artistic swimming and water polo to diving, open water and high diving, this event is sure to be a spectacle.
- The AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024™
After hosting back in 2016, Qatar is the destination once again for this exciting event. This biennial international age-restricted football championship will take place from 15 April to 3 May 2024. It will act as the AFC qualifiers for the 2024 Summer Olympics men’s football tournament.
- Expo 2023 Doha Qatar
Although the expo opened on the 2nd of October 2023, it continues running until the 28th of March 2024. With 3 million worldwide visitors expected to attend this horticultural exhibition is themed “Green Desert, Better Environment”. The event takes place in the scenic Al Bidda Park, which is one of the largest parks in Doha. With incredible views of the Arabian Gulf, visitors will be treated to beautiful gardens, conferences, art, cuisine and much more.
- Lusail Winter wonderland
Open until the 29th of February, this incredible adventure park is located in the heart of Al Maha Island. Perfect for the whole family, with over 50 rides and attractions, delicious food and entertainment, there is something for everyone.
- MIA Bazaar
Hosted by the Museum of Islamic Art, the MIA Bazaar is open until 10 March 2024. With weekends of vibrant culture, art and entertainment, this annual event is a thriving platform for artisans and entrepreneurs to display their craft. From handmade goods, jewellery, textiles and traditional products to sweets and desserts, it’s the perfect outing for everyone. Open on Fridays from 2pm to 10pm and Saturdays from 10am to 8pm, this family-friendly event is free to attend.
- Growing Kopi, Drinking Qahwa Exhibition
Coffee lovers will absolutely love this exhibition which showcases traditional and contemporary coffee cultures in Qatar and Indonesia. It presents the history of coffee cultivation, trade and consumption and offers visitors an immersive experience with interactive displays, sensory experiences and displays. The exhibition runs until 17 February 2024.
